UNSW SciConnect is an integrated student experience platform developed for the University of New South Wales (UNSW) to support students in navigating their academic journey. As the lead UX/UI designer, I played a key role in designing and refining the platform’s user experience, ensuring it was intuitive, accessible, and seamlessly integrated with UNSW’s existing digital ecosystem. SciConnect provides students with tools to explore majors, minors, skill development, career pathways, and university resources, acting as a companion tool to guide their study decisions.

My work focused on user research, wireframing, prototyping, and testing, applying human-centred design principles to improve usability and engagement. I led multiple rounds of user testing and accessibility audits, aligning SciConnect with WCAG 2.2 standards to ensure inclusivity. Key features I worked on include the Program Store, Careers Explorer, and Wayfinder, creating interactive pathways for students to explore academic and professional opportunities. The project highlights my expertise in education UX design, university platforms, and digital transformation in higher education, making SciConnect a scalable, mobile-friendly, and future-proof tool for UNSW students.
