Sproutly

Sproutly – UX & Product Design Case Study

Sproutly is an interactive plant-growing assistant app concept I co-designed as part of a UX design course at TAFE NSW, where I led the project from ideation to high-fidelity prototyping. Collaborating with a graphic designer, I designed a gamified, user-friendly experience that helps users keep their houseplants alive through AI-driven notifications, image recognition, and personalised care recommendations.

This project involved full-cycle UX design, including SWOT analysis, user persona development, wireframing, usability testing, and iterative design refinements. As team lead, I managed the project scope, ensured professional presentation of design ideas, and maintained an engaging, playful, approachable, and informative brand identity. Our concept successfully addressed user needs by combining expert plant care advice, real-time environmental tracking, and a visually engaging interface. Though a conceptual project, it was praised for its high level of execution and professional delivery within the course’s scope.
