Landscape Transferral
Reinterpreting landscapes in unexpected environments.
Landscape Transferral is an ongoing mural series that explores the relationship between place, memory, and abstraction. Each mural is based on a real landscape, documented on 35mm film, then abstracted and transformed into large-scale freehand spray-painted artworks.
This series draws influence from graffiti and post-graffiti aesthetics, using freehand spray-painting techniques to capture the fluidity and energy of the original locations. These murals act as a visual bridge between places, encouraging viewers to see their environments through a new lens.
Past works have been commissioned for:
• Good Grief Studios 5th Birthday Mural (Hobart) – via Vibrance Projects
• UNSW Art & Design Mural (Sydney) – via Arc UNSW
